At Bios, our goal in educating our students is to ignite a lifelong passion for learning about our God's revealed world. Grades should be an incidental result of a love for learning. We encourage and support our students in their learning, as well as their pursuit of a relationship with God, excelling in extracurricular activities, and finding their place in this world.
With that said, grades, SAT and ACT scores, contest recognition and extracurricular activities are important for college admissions. The Bios curriculum is designed to provide abundant opportunities for our students to exceed in a variety of ways.
We also recognize how important choosing a college is. It is a complex and varied process which we take very seriously. The process begins formally in the first semester of the tenth grade. We begin with meeting each family and providing an overall guide of what to expect and goals for them to meet as they begin their search. Testing dates, college fairs, and narrowing university choices are just some areas to explore. Our experience along with our desire to support each family through the searching process is something we take great care in.
We look forward to supporting you in this exciting endeavor.
