Bios has a growing athletics program under carfully selected coaches with the focus on developing the talents and character of the Bios athletes.

Fall Sports

The ladies volleyball team is coached by Cassandra Ravenhill with assistance from Tim Ihms. Cassandra brought previous coaching experience in volleyball and an incredible gift of encouragement to our girls. Congratulations to Cassandra for her instrumental role in the team earning the "Darrel Wilson Award for Sportsmanship in Girl's Volleyball and Regular Season Play" for 2008 and earning 2nd place in 2009.

Jeff Bumpass will be coaching the junior high boys soccer team. Coach Bumpass bring many years of experience and a love for the game. Matt Maier will coach the high school soccer team. This is in addition to his new teaching position at Bios. Both Jeff and Matt together coached the Bios Tigers last fall.

The Bios Cross Country team will be lead by Beth Ihms, Al Larson, and Dave Pierce. This team of coaches encouraged our runners in 2009 as well. The team will compete in local 5K races and are members of the Charter Athletic Association.

Winter

A team of coaches head up the Bios basketball program all under the direction of Coach Tim Ihms. Bios will have several boys and girls junior high and high school basketball teams participating in the Arizona Independent Christian School League (AICS) and Charter Athletic Association (CAA).

Spring

Spring offerings for our junior high and high school boys and girls are soccer, flag football, baseball, and golf.
